Kolonist is a late foal (April), but already well formed with a beautiful long neck and a gracious and very breedy head with the expressive eyes of the Orlovs.  He has very light movement with good strong, correct and flexible hind legs.  His character is a lovely and pleasant one.

Kolonist’s dam Kolomenka is the daughter of Perm’s Kovcheg and Moscow Stud’s Kameya.  She was test-raced at the Central Moscow Hippodrome and set a record of 2,24.   Our colt’s sire Kuplet is, as noted is the 44-time star of traditional named races and festivals of three countries.
