A relatively new sire for Moscow Stud Farm #1, Donnik’s sire Kantsler raced well at all distances, winning or placing in 9 stakes races.  Kantsler is a sturdy and ideally conformed (rated at 4.0) son of Imperator, himself a fine racer and sire tracing back to Ukrainian and Perm Stud lines.  Kantsler was foaled in Russia’s Povorot Stud.  Donnik’s dam Duda traces to Perm through Kipr.

This is a really good colt, a late foal developing nicely, with a good, economical gait, well conformed and with kind, even temperament.  His color is unusually elegant and striking.
