This colt’s dam, Kolomenka, is half-sister to our versatile champion, the homebred Kaniuk, both from the mare Kameya. This famous mare family of Kadetka-Kuban’ gave us our great broodmare Kolomna, dam of the champion sire Krikun, the great producing sire Kvartet, and the mare Konventsia, herself the dam of champion sire Kroket.

A late (April) foal and therefore a little less developed than others of his foal crop, Krymsk carries the promise of his family, with the breed-typical conformation and good movement (though a little hurried in his video).  He has a lovely, thoughtful eye, and is both good natured and kind.
