Kursistka is another Kuplet filly, and Kuplet has recently been called the number one Orlov Trotter sire of his generation.  He passes on to this young daughter, his light and elegant, long legged conformation.  She has her sire’s fine breedy head, clean limbs and correct top-line, along with his beautiful poised temperament.

Kursistka’s dam, MKZ#1’s Kurmanika, comes from the Kadetka/Kuban’ mare line which has given us outstanding racers and sires, for example four-year-old Kreshchatik, All-Russian record holder at 2400 meters, another record-holder, the well-known Kolenkor, as well as the stallion Kurazh and the marvelous Kaniuk.
