Dark Grey Filly

This dark grey filly is very much our “Moscow type”, of middle size with a beautiful, breedy head and neck and excellent clean limbs.  She has an even, tranquil, even phlegmatic, temperament and a well-formed body, which with her excellent pedigree, gives her great promise as a broodmare.

Gardarika’s dam Guash’ belongs to the great, ancient mare family of Govorushka and the “nest” of her famed daughter Gichka.  It’s a historic line that has produced generations of great racers and sires of the Orlov Trotter breed.  Gardarika’s sire Kriket is the son Kuplet, who brings her outstanding Ukrainian bloodlines, and Moscow Stud’s Kovboika, amazing daughter of Perm’s miracle horse, Kovboi, record setter for his breed and for a little while, the trotting world.
